When coming in to sign something, you must bring with you 2 pieces of proper identification consisting of at least one government issued photo identification, such as a Passport, Driver’s License or Government issued identification card and a second piece of identification such as a Social Insurance Card, Care Card, or major credit card with your name on it and your signature on the back. Original identification documents must be presented to me and a photocopy will be retained in the office.
If you require a Notarized Certified True Copy of a document, I can provide this service to you. I will need to examine the original of the document. I will then compare the original with the photocopy and then I will mark the photocopy to certify that it is unaltered as a true copy. I will then mark the date I have examined the document, sign it, and put my Notarial seal on the document.
When a child is traveling with one parent or another adult, out of the country, only the parent or parents who are not traveling with the child need to sign a letter of consent in front of the Notary. If the child is traveling with an organized group (such as a sports team), only one parent needs to sign.
You will prepare the consent letter and bring it into the office to be witnessed by the Notary.
SAMPLES OF CONSENT TO TRAVEL LETTERS:

Drop ins are welcome for notarizations; however if we have to prepare the document then we may require you to come back when the document has been prepared.
